One Vision announced a new roster of board members and officers elected at its annual meeting and 50th anniversary celebration, which took place last month with 140 people in attendance.

During the event, Kara Naig Trettin of St. Ansgar was appointed chair of the board of One Vision.

“We are delighted that Kara Naig Trettin is assuming the role of chair of the board of directors of One Vision,” said Jennifer Pinske, director of development for the association. “She brings to the organization her experience and knowledge of nonprofits and foundations and has learned our mission and vision through her relationships with employees and her time as a member of the board of directors.

Outgoing Chairman Jay LeFevre has served on the Board of Directors for the past nine years, the last two as Chairman.

According to a press release, as one of North Central Iowa’s largest employers, One Vision inspires individuals to lead their most meaningful lives by helping them achieve personal independence by providing and helping them acquire life skills.

A non-profit organization, it provides services to more than 400 people with exceptional disabilities. Based in Clear Lake, One Vision supports people of all ages in northern Iowa. For more information, visit www.onevision.org.
