Sunbeam Family Services Adopts New Vision Statement

OKLAHOMA CITY (JR) – Sunbeam Family Services is rededicated to a mission of building a brighter future for children and families.

The non-profit organization has adopted a new vision statement: “Sunbeam continually aspires to be a recognized leader in the field of early childhood care and education, with expert support for all systems family. We are constantly striving to strengthen the ecosystem of social services in our communities. We seek to be advocates for the highest quality services and to ensure the sustainability of our world.

Since its inception in 1907, Sunbeam has been a vital organization frequently called upon to meet the needs of the community. Through generous support, it prepares babies and toddlers for success in school and in life, supports the mental health and well-being of Oklahomans, provides safe and loving homes for foster children and helps connect families to support and resources.

Sunbeam Chairman of the Board, Todd Sanders, said the nonprofit has built a strong reputation in the Oklahoma City area and among major communities of practice by providing high quality supported by an innovative partnership model, strong relationships and a high degree of community responsiveness.

“We thank our strong supporters and community partners for their efforts to help Sunbeam achieve its mission over the years. Because we are encouraged by our past, we are excited about our future which will be guided by our new mission and vision,” Sanders said.
